President Trump’s announcement that he will eliminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, has caused significant worries for recipients and their families. It also gave Congress a tight deadline for deciding how to keep the popular program growing — or even expanding it. Now we’re hearing about a more conservative approach put forward by two Republican Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and James Lankford of Oklahoma. They’re calling it the Succeed Act.
