In 100 cities across the country, fast food workers went on strike Thursday to try to raise the federal minimum wage. In Phoenix protesters were out demanding a higher living wage, but none of them were fast food workers.
The Arizona State Forestry Division was fined nearly $560,000 in violations for the way the division handled the Yarnell Hill Fire. The Industrial Commission of Arizona approved the fines after the findings from the Arizona Division of Occupational Health and Safety at a hearing Wednesday.
