Arizonans who haven’t already cast their ballot can head to the polls Tuesday. Two of Arizona’s congressional seats are among the most hotly contested races in the nation. Those races and several statewide offices have seen massive spending by candidates and outside groups.
Even though many Arizonans will have already voted by Election Day tomorrow, there are those who still enjoy going to the polls in person. And state law requires they be given the time off from work to do so.
Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery said he is now turning to the U.S. Supreme Court in the hopes of preserving a controversial Arizona law that denies bail to some undocumented defendants in jail.
