The Federal Bureau of Investigation has launched a criminal probe into allegations of misconduct at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The involvement of the bureau’s Phoenix office was confirmed at a Wednesday morning hearing before the House Judiciary committee.
Legislation aimed at reforming operations within the Department of Veterans Affairs health care system was passed by the senate on Wednesday by a vote of 93-3. It was swiftly approved with bipartisan support.
