Fire crews have contained the Halfway Fire burning near Tusayan on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The Halfway Fire broke out Wednesday, and crews managed to contain the blaze by Thursday afternoon.

Reddington, on the Coronado
National Forest. Fire
information officer Gerry Perry says crews responded to another human caused
fire this weekend, and that it's important that stage two fire restrictions are
in place in all of the National Forests.

being beaten by two inmates at the state prison complex in Winslow, a week ago.

infamous orca responsile for three deaths while in captivity at Sea World,
opened in limited release this weekend.
