The eight-day bus strike that left thousands of passengers stranded raised questions about whether low income families can depend on the nation’s sixth largest city for their transportation, according to critics.
The latest Conservation in the West Poll is a survey of 2,800 registered voters in seven Western states, including Arizona. The questions cover a range of environmental topics, including public lands, energy and water.
The U.S. Department of Justice is accusing the cities of being controlled by the church and discriminating against church outsiders. Meanwhile, the lawyers defending the cities told jurors the federal government is itself discriminating against an unpopular, and asked jurors to question “who is discriminating against who.”
