Energy companies, environmentalists, ranchers and government officials are getting back together at meetings across the West this fall to talk about the fate of a chicken-like bird called the Greater Sage Grouse.
This is a song called “Watch them Grow,” and it’s on a new album by David Simmons. He’s the production manager at Desert Foothills Theater in Scottsdale, and the brother of actor J.K. Simmons, who’s also singing on this track, along with David’s son.

After close to 20 years in space, NASA’s Cassini orbiter was killed off and intentionally sent into Saturn, which was the planet the spacecraft’s images brought most of us much closer to than we ever would have thought possible.
The Phoenix New Times created a firestorm for a popular motel chain this week. Reporters Antonia Noori Farzan and Joseph Flaherty found a pattern of arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, agents at two Motel 6’s in predominantly Latino neighborhoods in Phoenix.
