Eileen Klein, Alan Maguire, and Dana Naimark discussed Arizona's fiscal policy.
( Phoenix, AZ ) Here and Now delved into the state's budget shortfall. Economist Alan Maguire and Governor Brewer chief of staff Eileen Klein discussed the state's troubling revenue picture. Children's Action Alliance CEO Dana Naimark joined Klein and Maguire to talk about options, including more budget cuts and tax increases. The Goldwater Institute's Byron Schlomach discussed why more cuts are necessary and a tax increase is bad policy. Klein, Maguire and Naimark also talked about what it will take to solve Arizona's long term fiscal problems.
