( Phoenix, AZ ) Nearly 11 million Americans are underwater on their mortgage. That's a lot of people who borrowed money from the bank and then watched the value of their homes take a terrifying dive. In Arizona, the crisis is acute. And Lin and Milo White know the pain of negative equity as well as anyone. KJZZ's Peter O'Dowd spent some time with the Glendale couple and learned how their mortgage has literally torn the family apart.
