( Phoenix, Arizona ) With consumer complaints on the rise, the federal government announced a plan yesterday that will force banks to modify more loans. KJZZ has followed this troubled industry for months, including the story of one local company, Choice Loan Consulting. Since March, the loan-mod company has seen a former partner convicted of fraud, past owners have bailed out, and now customers from all over the country say they've been let down by false promises. KJZZ's Peter O'Dowd reports.
