( Phoenix ) Newspapers across the country--including The Arizona Republic and the East Valley Tribune--continue to lay off journalists. As a result, the practice of investigative reporting is rapidly becoming a thing of the past for many media outlets. But as KJZZ's Steve Goldstein reports, an unexpected player--the Goldwater Institute--is looking to fill the void.
