( Phoenix, AZ ) Alzheimer's is the 7th leading cause of death in Arizona. KJZZ's Here and Now delved into this debilitating disease by looking at its impact on individuals and their families. The show also looked at what care is available and what you can do to help prevent the disease. Here and Now also discussed some of the research to detect and treat Alzheimer's that's going on in the state.
