Grand Canyon University economist Debra Roubik joined Here and Now host Steve Goldstein to talk about Arizona's economy.
( Phoenix, AZ ) Slumping retail sales, a collapsing housing market, and other economic challenges facing Arizona and our nation were the focus of Here and Now. The program featured economist Debra Roubik and interviews with ASU finance and real estate professor Tony Sanders and U of A economics professor Jerry Swanson. State Treasurer Dean Martin also talked about Arizona's dwindling general fund and the options available to lawmakers and the governor to keep the state from running out of money.
