Arizona taxpayers gave more than $100 million in the form of tax credits to fund private tuition scholarships and public school extra curricular activities in 2006.
( Phoenix, AZ ) Arizona is the only state in the nation that allows taxpayers to donate to public schools or private school scholarship programs and take a tax credit.
