Student Hunger Strike
( Phoenix )A group of college students in the Valley have launched a 7-day hunger strike to draw attention to a proposed federal law called the Dream Act. The bill would allow undocumented immigrants who graduate high school to remain in the U.S. if they attend college or join the military for two years.

TB Patient Moved to Denver for Treatment

TB Patient Waiting for Medical Transfer
( Phoenix, AZ )Medical officials in Colorado say they're preparing for the arrival of Robert Daniels, the Phoenix man with a dangerous form of tuberculosis. Since last summer, Daniels has been held in court-ordered isolation at the Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He's due to be transferred to a Denver hospital. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports the move is taking longer than Daniels, or his attorneys, would like.

AZ TB Patient May Be Moved to Denver
( Phoenix, AZ )A Phoenix man with a rare and dangerous form of drug resistant tuberculosis may soon be transferred to National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Colorado, where TB patient Andrew Speaker has been treated. For the past year, Robert Daniels has been has been quarantined in a jail ward of the Maricopa Medical Center.

Mission to the Martian Polar North
( PHOENIX )NASA officials in Washington have announced a landing site for the Phoenix Mars Mission. Liftoff is schedule for early August from Cape Canaveral. ( Benson, AZ )Eight years after Kartchner Caverns opened to the public, the park is struggling to get enough visitors. 2006 saw a nearly 20% drop in attendance. This summer, park officials are cutting the admission ticket price in half.
