GOP Leaders to Appeal Latest ELL Ruling

Phoenix Man with TB in Lockdown
( Phoenix, AZ )A Phoenix man with a virulent strain of tuberculosis has been on a lockdown wing of the Maricopa County Medical Center for eight months. County health officials have gone to extreme measures to keep Robert Daniels' illness from spreading. Some say too extreme.

This past month, the governor went to Iraq to visit Arizona troops; met with Republican lawmakers to talk budget and other legislative issues; and delivered an address on immigration to the National Press Club in Washington D.C. Here and Now: Arizona Legislature
( Phoenix, AZ )This week on Here and Now, host Steve Goldstein and guests East Valley Tribune Capitol Reporter Dennis Welch and KJZZ Capitol Reporter Mark Brodie looked at what's been accomplished so far this legislative session. We also talked to a lawmaker about legislative efforts to thwart illegal immigration. We also discussed what the legislature is doing about the state's transportation, water and air pollution problems. Plus, homeowners associations are the target of a number of bills. We found out why lawmakers want to ease HOA restrictions on signs, solar panels and street parking.

( Phoenix, AZ )The history of professional baseball is checkered with can't miss prospects who never made it to the big leagues. But most guys quit trying after five, six, 10, 15 years. Not Adam Hyzdu. The first round draft pick tried for 16 seasons to get his big break. He still holds his Cincinnati area high school's home run record, passing Ken Griffey, Jr. He took a tape recorder with him to spring training for several years in a row. You'll never guess where he's playing now.

The Phoenix Lights -- 10 Years Later
( Phoenix, AZ )March 13th marks the 10th anniversary of the appearance of the "Phoenix Lights." A decade later, UFO hobbyists are still talking about the supposed mystery and intrigue of the bright lights over the Valley. The US military says it was flares. A prominent ASU astronomy professor says that explanation is sufficient.
