( Phoenix, AZ ) Residents in the Ahwatukee Foothills area didn't like what they saw at a public meeting Thursday held by Arizona Department of Transportation to unveil the route of the proposed South Mountain Freeway. The freeway would be the final segment of the Loop 202 and part of it would run along Pecos Road, south of South Mountain and north of the Gila River Indian Community. As KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports, most of the more than 2,000 people who showed up don't want the freewway to be built at all.
