( Tempe, AZ ) This month the US State Department and Sister Cities International announced the city of Tempe had been chosen to partner with Hilla, Iraq. Hilla is an hour south of Baghdad and has a population of just under a half million people. Tempe is the fifth and smallest US city chosen to participate in the "Partners for Peace" program, announced by First Lady Laura Bush last year. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports.
