Some Valley school districts are facing budget cuts after voters defeated overrides in last month’s election. That’s on top of cuts to the schools made by the state over the past few years and a court ruling that found lawmakers have shorted schools on voter-approved money.
The recount in the 2nd Congressional District is getting closer to the finish line. The district includes half of Pima County and all of Cochise County, and both have finished their electronic recount.
