The number of foreclosures being started in Arizona continues to drop, according to the monitoring firm RealtyTrac. Vice President Darren Blomquist says about 3,900 Arizona properties got foreclosure notices during April.

Firefighters in north central Arizona are concerned about high winds whipping the flames of the Doce Fire on Wednesday. The area, about eight miles northwest of Prescott, is under a Red Flag warning for high winds and low humidity, according to meteorologist Valerie Myers of the National Weather Service.
