Bob Wilber grew up in Scarsdale, NY, and studied at the Eastman School of Music and played with the group, The Wildcats. Bob became a protege of Sidney Bechet and later performed with Benny Goodman, Jack Teagarden, Bob Crosby and Eddie Condon. Bob co-led Soprano Summit with Kenny Davern, was a founding member of the World's Greatest Jazz Band. Among the numerous recordings to his credit, Bob was recognized with a 1986 Grammy for his musical score of the film, "The Cotton Club." He has played all over the world at concerts, festivals and parties.
