KJZZ Signal Issues

Due to issues with our microwave transmitter, KJZZ is currently off the air in Phoenix. Some people in the Scottsdale area are able to listen on 91.7. We also are streaming on the web.

The engineering team is aware of this issue and is currently working to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience during this time.

KJZZ 90.1 Off the Air in Prescott

The NPR program schedule on Prescott frequency 90.1 has been changed somewhat through our partnership with local station KJZA. For the last eight years KJZZ has been offering quality NPR programming to the communities of Northern Arizona through this partnership. At this time, the FCC has granted a full power license to KJZA on the 90.1 frequency allowing KJZA to better serve the Prescott area. KJZZ will continue to offer Monday through Saturday programming on 90.1, some other weekend programs may not be heard for a period of time. Some service is available through KJZA on 89.5 FM in the Prescott area.

KJZA has applied to the FCC to provide KJZZ with its own translator frequency. It is estimated that this alternative translator service may be available by mid summer.
