( Phoenix, AZ ) We were joined on Blues and Beyond by special guest, Jerry Lawson, the great Soul singer, Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame nominee, and founder of the legendary Persuasions. We were also joined in this interview by his wife and agent the wonderful, Julie Lawson - together we discussed Jerry's new project with the a capella group, Talk of the Town, from Northern California. We also discussed the making of Jerry's documentary, and his performance with Rod Stewart on the internationally televised Hurricane Katrina benefit.
