Alternative Service to MVD Closures
Among the state offices that will be closed on Friday, as state workers take a mandatory furlough day to help close Arizona's budget gap, are all Motor Vehicle Division offices. But, event though MVD is closed, Arizonans will still be able to get a drive's license or register a car, through private MVD service providers. Dennis Lambert talks with Ken Quartermain of P3 Public Policy Partners to discuss the issue.

Tempe Town Lake Dam Burst

Supervisors Approve "Solana" Plant

Solar Systems in the Making
What used to be a featureless blob in the lens of prior telescopes has now become clear. University of Arizona astronomer Joshua Eisner and his team are now able to see into protoplanetary disks - the building blocks of a growing solar system, over 500 light years away.
