2008 Murrow Awards
The Radio-Television News Directors Association has announced the 2008 regional winners of the Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in electronic journalism. 2008 Best of the Capitol
The Arizona Capitol Times recently announced the Best of the Capitol Awards, giving KJZZ's Capitol Coverage Team top honors for their news coverage. Congratulations to Mark Brodie, Dennis Lambert and their team for another year of outstanding journalism.
2007 Murrow Awards
The Radio-Television News Directors Association has announced the 2007 regional winners of the Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in electronic journalism. RTNDA received 3,150 regional entries. Judges gave 587 awards to 280 stations in 14 categories, including overall excellence, spot news, continuing coverage and investigative reporting, among others. 2006 Murrow Awards
KJZZ, Arizona's premier National Public Radio station, has won two regional Edward R. Murrow awards for excellence in journalism. Both awards are for an audio journal series called "The Hyzdu Diaries: The life and times of a career minor leaguer", produced by KJZZ News Director Mark Moran.
