Saturday Is 1st Day To Cast Ballots In Person For Phoenix City Council Runoff Election

Saturday is the first day to cast ballots in person in the Phoenix City Council runoff election. One seat is open in District 5 and another in District 8.

The city of Phoenix will operate 11 voting centers to fill the vacancies.

Registered voters will be required to show identification at the polls. Voters with disabilities will have access to voting devices at these sites.

The sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m to 6 p.m Monday. On Tuesday, polls will be open from 6 a.m to 7 p.m. A list of locations are posted at phoenix.gov.

Those without an acceptable identification may vote a provisional ballot at the polls.

Unofficial are expected to be released late Tuesday.
