Meet the membership team busily working behind the scenes to help manage your account, answer your questions, send news bulletins and organize member events.
Tanya Algee is no stranger to the stations; she also served on the membership team in 2000-2001. Algee returned to the membership team in 2011 as a Member Services Coordinator. She answers member questions, facilitates member requests and helps process member donations. She says her love of public radio led her back.
Brian Fergus has been serving as the KBAQ/KJZZ Membership Manager since February 2011. His primary function is managing membership databases, records and sustainer programs, and developing new ways to make it easy for members to manage their accounts and give at a time and level convenient for them. Fergus is a veteran public broadcasting developer who also served on the EIGHT Arizona Public Television membership team for nearly nine years.
Claire Kerrigan is the newest member of the membership team, recently relocating to Phoenix from Madison, CT. Kerrigan has extensive experience in development, most recently with the historic Goodspeed Opera House. As the Development Associate for Major Giving, Kerrigan manages donor mailings, phone calls and station visits with members.
Becky Marshall began volunteering with the stations 13 years ago. After several years of volunteer work, she was hired to serve in the membership department. Marshall serves on the front reception team, assists with mass mailings, works with volunteers during fund drives and assists with special events.
Morris J. Puzzi joined the major giving team in September 2011. Born and raised in Arizona, Puzzi has more than ten years’ experience in public radio and television, with 40 years in marketing, advertising and commercial broadcasting. Puzzi serves as a Philanthropic Relations Officer for KJZZ/KBAQ, managing Leadership Society relations.
Jeanette Richards began working as a membership assistant in December 2010. She serves the team by answering member calls, managing membership databases, processing donations and overseeing the matching gifts program.
Victoria (Tori) Houston is a new student intern who works part-time for the stations and will be attending college again next semester. She assists the membership department with member calls, data entry and scheduling volunteers for fund drives.
Linda Pastori has served as the team’s Director of Development since 2010. A veteran fundraising expert, Pastori has served other public broadcasting stations, non-profits and private schools for the last 20 years. Her passion is clearly public broadcasting and her secret to success is collaboration. “Raising money is a team endeavor. I am privileged to spend each day working with employees and listeners who love public broadcasting as much as I do.”
