The border region continues to be at the center of the political debate in Washington, D.C., and those who live there are the ones who feel the effects.

For Hendrix College biology professor Matthew Moran, the tiny town of Boquillas has provided a view into those effects. Over the past 20 years, he’s brought students to the area to study the biologically diverse region.

The Show spoke to him about what he's seen.
