The Phoenix City Council this week narrowly approved a more than $230 million development project at Central Station between Central Avenue and First Avenue and between Van Buren Street and Polk Street.

The project will include retail, restaurants, office space, a hotel and housing. But some critics have complained the housing options do not include enough affordable and workforce housing.
