Kyrene School District Offers Online Registration
The Kyrene School District is one of the latest to offer online registration for students.
Starting Monday, Jan. 7, parents of new and returning students will be able to go online to secure a seat in the classroom.
“Traditionally parents would have to come in person with all of their paperwork and fill everything out and now they’re going to be able to go online and do things digitally,” said district spokesperson Erin Helm.
Parents of new students will still have to bring their child’s birth certificate to the school, but otherwise the process will be totally online.
Helm said the district will benefit from knowing whether current students plan to return next year and having a centralized location for student information such as emergency contacts.
Families will also still be able to register in person.
