Are Food-Related Outbreaks Getting Worse?

2018 has been a terrible year for food recalls and related concerns in the United States.

The biggest was probably the pre-Thanksgiving outbreak of E. Coli in romaine lettuce, which caused officials to discourage people from using romaine at all.

Is the issue getting scarier? Or is there greater awareness?
