The National Hockey League has decided to make Seattle its next expansion city, which will lead to the Arizona Coyotes changing divisions in three years — from the Pacific to the Central.

But the news means some Coyotes’ fans can breathe a sigh of relief, because Seattle was one of the cities rumored to be an option if the Coyotes relocated from the Valley.
