President Trump Sent Marines To The Border In California. What Are They Doing There?
The first people from the migrant caravan began arriving at the Southern border last week, and while most of the thousands of migrants are still weeks away, President Trump has said he will meet their arrival with some 15,000 troops.
13,000 of those troops are Marines from Camp Pendleton and were deployed to the San Diego/Tijuana border last week. KPBS military reporter Steve Walsh spent the day on Friday with those troops and he joined The Show to talk about it.
