There is a growing body of research that suggests we deeply depend on following the circadian code inside our bodies.

New research says every single cell in our body has a 24-hour clock and all these clocks are timed to work together, so that every brain chemical, every hormone, every enzyme, even every gene of our genome rises and falls at specific times of the day.

This is according to Dr. Satchin Panda, whose new book, "The Circadian Code" says our modern-day lifestyles constantly disrupt this rhythm, and that this disruption results in a slew of chronic diseases seen in millions of people today.

Dr. Panda calls this circadian biology the next revolution in healthcare. The Show reached him recently to talk more about it.
