Bobcat Attacks Two, Tests Positive For Rabies

Oct. 14, 2013

Yavapai County Health Officials want people to be cautious after a bobcat that attacked two people north of Prescott Valley tested positive for rabies.

Epidemiologist Stephen Everett said not to feed, approach or touch wild animals, alive or dead, but while Everett said cases of rabies cannot be ignored, treatment for humans, if necessary, is very effective.
