Study: Arizona Renewable Energy Growing At One Of The Fastest Rates In U.S.

A new report shows Arizona is generating a lot more renewable energy than it did a decade ago. In fact, the state could power 658,000 homes today using renewables.

In addition to that, California is the only state growing in solar generation at a faster rate than Arizona.

Those are just a couple of the key facts in Environment Arizona Research and Policy Center’s "Renewables on the Rise" study.

Bret Fanshaw is the solar program director at the center and spoke with The Show about the study.
