How The FBI Has Come Into And Out Of Political Favor
President Trump has been critical of the FBI after the agency admitted to not following up on a tip about Nikolas Cruz, who killed 17 people at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida earlier this month.
He and his supporters have also been critical of the FBI over its investigation into whether Russia meddled in the 2016 election, and whether the Trump campaign was involved with that in any way. That’s a shift from years past, when the GOP was more supportive of the agency, and Democrats were suspicious.
To get some perspective on this, The Show's Mark Brodie is joined by David Stebenne, a professor of history and law at Ohio State University.
