Survey: Americans Don't Seem Too Concerned About Federal Budget Deficit

Fewer Americans seem to be worried about the federal budget deficit. That’s according to the 2017 American Values Survey, conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute.

Among other findings, it shows 37 percent of Republicans say it should be the federal government’s top priority; in 2013, more than 70 percent felt that way.

To get more insight into the survey, The Show's Mark Brodie spoke with Robert Jones, CEO of PRRI, and asked him if it’s fair to say there just isn’t a lot of concern about the deficit right now.
