Topgolf Announces Plans To Build Venue In Glendale
As TopGolf makes plans to build its first West Valley location, Glendale is looking ahead to see just how this new venue will impact the city.
The luxury driving range located near University of Phoenix stadium is supposed to create about 500 jobs once its up and running.
TopGolf announced plans to build its fourth Arizona venue in Glendale on vacant city-owned property near the University of Phoenix stadium.
Glendale economic development director Brian Friedman said the venue will generate up to $264 million over 10 years.
“More and more the West Valley will begin to create these types of opportunities for base employment as well as sporting and entertainment options,” Friedman said. “It’s just a very, very exciting time to be in Glendale and be working in the West Valley.”
Construction is scheduled to begin this fall, and the venue is planned to open in late 2018.
