New Website Design Spares Some Users Trips To MVD

October 01, 2013

The Arizona Department of Transportation says recent improvements to the design of the website should make it easier to skip a visit to the MVD for many common transactions. ADOT spokesman Harold Saunders said you will be able to get the answers you need without paying any more.

“The total redesign will not change anything as far as the costs of any of the service they’ve previously received,” Saunders said. “It provides no additional fee or cost to the taxpayers at all.”

Saunders said the site can be used to renew vehicle registrations, purchase a special license plate or conduct more than 20 other transactions online by using a computer, smartphone or tablet.  The website also provides information to answer questions about driver licenses, vehicle titles and registration requirements in Arizona.
