Phoenix Fire Department officials are looking for a suspect caught on video as part of an investigation into an arson that forced an LGBTQ youth center to close earlier this month.

Investigators say with what information was given, the arson is not a hate crime.

Officials have identified 26-year-old Darren William Beach Jr. as a suspect in an arson that damaged one.n.ten LGBTQ youth center near Third Street and Weldon Avenue.

The surveillance video shows Beach walk with a red gas can, enter the youth center and empty the can on the floor. After he exits, fire spreads quickly through the building.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find Beach, who is 6'2" tall and 280 pounds, by calling 911 to report his location.

The center website says one.n.ten programs are being rescheduled to The Parsons Center for Health and Wellness.
