A co-working space focused on bringing women entrepreneurs together is opening a second location in the West Valley.

The co-working space called StarshineAZ opened at the Glendale Airport in June and is now expanding to include offices in Peoria. The new space will be located in Huntington University, catering to businesswomen and providing resources for them.

Co-founder Susan Moody said the first location has already reached twelve members and provides a comfortable space for businesswomen.

“Women do business differently than men. We don’t really like to compete, we like to collaborate," she said. "And when you have a small space like we do, if you bring a male energy in, it just changes the dynamics.”

Moody says men are welcome to join in their weekly public programs.

The Huntington space will open August 1.
