The Daily Courier reported the Prescott City Council will vote Tuesday whether to sell Fire Station 7, former home of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, to a local plumbing company.

The company made an offer of $362,000 to buy the station, higher than the city’s asking price of $290,000.

Nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots were killed in the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013. Families of the 19 firefighters were given two months to come up with a plan to preserve the station but none was submitted.
