The television sports landscape is changing and expanding rapidly. ESPN, which dominates the field, has been joined by Fox Sports One, the NBC Sports Network and the CBS Sports Network.

But despite the presence of a growing number of female anchors and reporters, all of the talking head and roundtable programs have been led by men.

The CBS Sports Network is trying to change that with its new show, “We Need to Talk.” We were joined by University of Georgia professor Vicki Michaelis, a former sportswriter for USA Today and the Denver Post.
