Tuition increases and an update on the accreditation process for the University of Arizona’s vet school are among the topics on the agenda for this week’s meeting of the Arizona Board of Regents.

The regents will be meeting from Wednesday through Friday.

Wednesday is reserved for committee meetings. Officials will be updated on issues like how University of Arizona Medical School’s partnership with Banner Health is going and where they are in the Phoenix campus accreditation process.

Tuition setting will happen Thursday. All of the state’s three public universities have proposed some increase in tuition for next year.

While the public was given several opportunities to express their concerns, no modifications have been made to the proposal, according to a regents spokesperson.

Regents will wrap up the week with the appointment of Dr. Robert Clayton Robbins as president of University of Arizona. They'll will also authorize and sign his contract.
