Trump's Proposed Budget Eliminates Funds For National Endowment Of Arts

The Trump administration’s proposed federal budget doesn’t leave any room for the National Endowment for the Arts or the National Endowment for the Humanities, completely eliminating all of their funding.

At this point, the annual budgets for both collectively reach $300 million in a $1.1 trillion total of annual federal discretionary spending.

Arts organizations and many communities were alarmed by the proposed zeroing out and are moving to take steps to counter the idea.
