Investigation Continues In Bus Driver?s Responsibility For Rescue Efforts

July 31, 2013

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office says it'll take several more days to decide whether a tour bus driver will be charged for trying to cross a flooded wash, Sunday, near Dolan Springs. Spokeswoman Trish Carter says the driver may be responsible for rescue efforts if it's found he ignored barriers or warning signs to cross the flooded area, but that it'll be up to the county attorney's office in the end.

“After our investigation, the report will be forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review to determine if there are going to be charges or no charges,” Carter said.

And, Carter says deciding a course of action will take some time.
