Gila River Indian Community Signs New Colorado River Agreement
You may know the Colorado River supplies 41 percent of the total water to Arizona. That means a turn of your tap or the swoosh of your sprinklers, and you’re looking to Lake Mead, the nation’s largest reservoir off the Colorado River, as your source.

A new agreement signed on Wednesday by the Gila River Indian Community, the state of Arizona, the city of Phoenix, and the Walton Family Foundation expands tribal participation in Lake Mead conservation programs.
Buschatzketold explains more on this.
Joining us now is one of the new participants in this conservation effort, Gov. Stephen Lewis, the governor of the Gila River Indian Community.
