Southern Arizona veterans will get a chance to critique the VA Health Care System during a town hall meeting Friday.

The session is one of a series being held around the country. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald has asked all VA facilities to hold sessions to improve communications and hear directly from veterans.

The Tucson session will be Friday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Tucson Vet Center. Representatives from both the Tucson and Phoenix VA will be there to help veterans with questions related to their care and benefits during and after the meeting.

Members of the eligibility and enrollment staff will also be on hand to answer questions about eligibility for healthcare and to provide assistance to veterans who want to enroll.

The town hall is open to all members of the public, according to VA officials.
