The National Congress of American Indians is holding its Winter Executive Council meeting this week in Washington, D.C. 

The Tribal Nations Policy Summit will focus on several issues, including violence against women and intellectual property rights related to traditional knowledge, genetic resources and cultural expression. 

Several senators and congressmen will also speak at the conference, including Rep. Raul Grijalva from Arizona.
